
The weeds are under control, for the moment.

My garden produces weeds at an alarming rate. It's very good at that. The creeping charlie and the mint must spread at over a foot a day, that stuff reminds me of the red veins from that lame remake of War of the Worlds.
It hit me while I was pulling weeds that gardening is much like relationships in very obvious ways. If you don't keep a close watch on them both, nurturing and caring for them as you go, then the results can all the sudden overtakes you, leaving a sense of confusion about how and where to start again.
